The Alliance of Ukrainian Organisations (AUO) is an association of Ukrainian civil society organizations in Germany, with members primarily located in various federal states, especially Berlin. Founded in response to Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022, the AUO aims to enhance the visibility of Ukraine within Germany. The organization seeks to make Ukraine more tangible, relatable, and understandable to the German society in which it coexists. The AUO advocates for Ukraine to be recognized as a significant actor and a free European country in German politics and media.
